new clients make an appointment contact us about us expectations the series who gets rolfed? what is rolfing? what does it feel like?

Traditionally, Rolfing happens within an initial series of ten sessions. Each session builds upon the last to produce a cumulative effect in which the whole body is organized. When the body is out of alignment, solely treating the symptoms may not relieve the discomfort. Rolfing’s long-term results are achieved through reestablishing balance and support in the whole body, as well as working to relieve the symptomatic areas. After completing the initial series, it is recommended that clients take a minimum of 4-6 months off from Rolfing, as the body will continue to change after the work has ceased. People can then return as desired for “post-ten” or “tune-up” work.
